Fancy digging out people's cars in 1982?

In six feet of icey snow.

In the middle of the night.

That's how we tried to help. Same goes breaking down in the North Cotswolds when it goes down to minus eleven.

Ooh, there's a little bit of wind and drizzle today so we better call it a name or we might get into trouble.

  • SpringTime changed the title to Naming so called storms storms

A week after so many people had lives ruined in wales and tj complaining about “not having enough warning” and we have thread like this?

hopefully it will pass without too much impact but why have a pop at people doing their jobs

it reads like just an other excuse to have a pop at “authorities”

“Little bit of drizzle” uodate

    • Did you query the tissues and sand?
    • I just tried to "like" a post and I got a message saying I could not add any more reactions today. Is this a new rule, or have I just been more restrained in the past?!  No idea why that last bit is underlined . ..
    • I have swum in it several times since it's reopened.  No problems.  The sand stuff is a bit off-putting but like all pools they'll have to test and log the water quality regularly so I think it's unlikely to be a health issue.  The water is clearer than a pool I use regularly near my work - also with no issues.
    • After looking through a few decorator recommendations on here and getting some quotes, I hired Kam to paint ceiling, walls, door, skirting etc in my hallway and bathroom. Really happy with the results and the experience with Kam. He is professional, friendly and polite: someone I was happy and comfortable to have in my home (I live on my own and this is not always the case) and implicitly trusted to be there when I was away. The price was reasonable, his communication was great and he was patient with some changes I wanted to make and willing to try painting tiled floors with a particular paint I found and worked meticulously to get a great finish with it and all aspects of the job.  He also went above and beyond to tidy up some painting jobs I'd done myself. Thoroughly recommend.   Kam: 07949507412 email: kamthompson1@yahoo.co.uk
