"The can play and sing, and they're fearless" - Martin Carthy

Goblin Band have only been around a short time but the following they've gathered has been phenomenal. Their live shows are an amazing thing to witness!
They grew from sessions in the Hobgoblin Musical Instrument shop in Rathbone Place where various band members worked, then also the Folk Of The Round Table sessions at the now sadly defunkt Matchstick Piehouse in Deptford.

Holly Murphy is a singer and Harp player living in South London, performing solo and as a part of their band Elfshot, they interpret the folk songs of their native Scotland with enraptured and spellbound accompaniment.

Victoria Lynn is a Hastings born, folk singer living in London known for their captivating unaccompanied singing style that is simple, honest and timeless, through which they explore traditional English folk song.

There are now very few tickets left for this night. The last few tickets have just  been made available.

    • Hi, does anyone have their up to date number please?
    • I imagine Franco Manca's business dropped off quite a bit when Yard Sale opened (though isn't Yard Sale delivery only?) But in any case, both of those are chains.
    • Thanks. I'll call them shortly as I could get there without the car.  That's good of Sainsburys! We've done the apple pie and tart thing, an ongoing muesli thing and the coleslaw thing - just not sure what effect all the sugars are having on our digestive tracts.  If we were in Somerset and had a press, I'd consider it. Can't be that diffcult, can it?
    • One time Sainsbury's delivered 6 bags of apples instead of 6 single apples which I couldn't possibly get through. I phoned Pecan in Peckham to ask if they would accept them despite their website stating no fresh foods. I must have phoned at just the right time as they were happy to accept them. Sainsburys gave me a refund so the donation was courtesy of them. Or you could experiment with all kinds of apple recipes and write a blog about it
