Dog Faeces in East Dulwich!!

Pickup your dogs shit off the street, it's so simple. Don't own a dog if you cannot do this basic service. Pathetic. Cleaning my shoes of dog shit for the 2nd time this month. What's going on?

Have to agree, seems to be a problem everywhere but particularly bad on Lordship Lane recently

Most owners do.  Beyond getting it off you chest, or shoe, you won't change a thing by posting here

I think you can write to your local council to get the street cleaned more regularly. Also the may put more posters up to remind ppl to do clean up

I'd also like to add that dog owners when picking it up should take it home to their own bin! Lost count of people chucking it in our bin, just disgusting. 

Parents don't leave dirty nappies in the street so dog owners shouldn't either.

I witnessed a "chap" leave his dogs mess on the Rye earlier, thought it best not to say anything in risking an injury or worse!

Actually when I had a dog  she often came out of the bushes in the park with a soiled nappy , so not just some dog owners who are dirty b.......!  Most dog owners seem really good round here.

There used to be bins around the area specifically for putting in bags of dog poo.

I don't know who collected the bags from the bins, or how frequently.

Do they no longer exist?

Sadly I doubt the kind of person  who doesn't pick up after their dog is going to pay any attention to that, even if they see it.

The amount of dog poo I see on a day to day in East Dulwich is beyond disgusting! Why are dog owners not picking up their dogs mess???!!!

And one dog owner (or possibly dog walker) seems to think that if the dog poo is in the gutter, that makes it ok.

I have to join this thread..I have'nt stepped in dog poo for years and years and then twice in the last couple of months

North X road and Felbrigg road.

To add insult to injury both times its been with my right foot which superstition says is bad luck

So thats doubly sh**ty😩

I’ve seen it on nutfield road, upland road, rodwell road even north cross road!! It’s foul , imagine a child falls in it it’s absolutely terrible for it around here!

That's also in the same area as Ulverscroft, Fellbrigg and North Cross Roads.

Ulverscroft and Fellbrigg Roads both run between North Cross Road and Whateley Road.

Might someone have seen anything on their door cameras (no idea what they are called as I don't have one) ?

Spotted 6/7 different piles all around East Dulwich on my lunchtime walk. 

Fully behind bringing back medieval punishment for this sort of thing. Nothing that would actually harm anyone but every Saturday morning put the guilty culprit in the stocks on Goose Green and launch rotten veg or their dogs sh*t at them. £1 a go for the baying public. 

A punishment that would make people think twice instead of a fine which clearly isn't much of a deterrent.

I think it should be free and they should pay £1 for every one on target. Proceeds to go towards a Xmas bonus for the street cleaners.
