Gokay Fitness - Sports Massage

I had a second great sports massage at Gokay’s Fitness Hub in Dulwich Village. I have to be careful with my knees following an osteotomy on my left leg a couple of years ago. This operation corrected the shape of my left leg and was performed to preserve the knee joint which was under strain. I tend to over compensate on my right leg whilst standing so this also is impacted. Alex, the sports therapist has provided some really effective and insightful treatment, explaining how the combination of muscles and tendons work and their roles in supporting the knee joint. Slightly uncomfortable at times, muscles tend to ‘complain’ in the pursuit of relaxing and re-setting them but this is ‘healing pain’ and the results have been great on both occasions. I feel as though I have a new knee and my right leg feels grateful for the attention after over compensating for its’ partner in crime. Thanks so much Alex!
