So, on Saturday, we suddenly had a leak through on to our bedroom ceiling, with water falling onto our bed. In a panic, we messaged friends to try to find a reliable plumber who would be able to help. My oh my, did we need help. One of our friends suggested Nico; she had been a client of his for a while and recommended him very highly. Nico was unable to come during the day but said that he would visit our home in the evening. The flow of water had stopped but we kept our fingers crossed that he would turn up and that he was affordable. Nico arrived just when he said that he would, climbed up into the loft and then he explained what he was going to do and why. We agreed, the source of the leak was sorted and he gave us advice about how we could make sure that it was unlikely to happen again.  The price of the work was totally reasonable and we are genuinely grateful for his intervention. We intend to use him again and would always recommend him. Aside from his highly professional behaviour, his social skills are outstanding, he is a kind and thoughtful man. Dear Nico, thank you.

A bit of a delayed review but we had a kitchen sink disaster on Christmas Day, so called Nico (after finding his incredible reviews on the ED forum) and he came over the day after boxing day. Incredibly friendly, knowledgable, and super professional. It was a tricky job but Nico fixed it within an hour. Can't recommend him highly enough.

I used the Forum to find a reliable plumber who could respond to an emergency. Niko responded quickly and was able to come over and fix the problem efficiently and effectively. He was professional, courteous and thoughtful. He was also keen that I contacted him after a few days to check with him that I was still happy with the work he had done.

I have no hesitation in recommending Niko and would certainly call on him again.

Thanks Niko

I also used reviews on the forum to find Nico. He was excellent. He repaired a toilet seal ,fixed a loo seat and sorted out a dripping tap.Nico is delightful. He is a lovely guy who would only take payment when he was sure I made sure everything was working. Punctual and reliable. I will be using him again a real find.

    • bizarre responses from everyone but Cancerian 🤷🏾‍♀️ As an LL resident surely a perfectly normal enquiry in that one might wish to know who to look out for if lawless/feral kids are wreaking havoc? any distinguishing marks on the perpetrators? presumably the objection is that a physical description might reveal the alleged culprits as non-white? (nothing else makes sense with this bourgeois over-sensitivity). same botched thinking that causes police descriptions of suspects on the loose to omit this info  (top way to protect the public / solve the crime) FYI i'm a mixed-race female and interested in THE TRUTH. hence, i want to protect myself & my family against criminals. so please DESCRIBE the physical appearance of criminals or suspected criminals to help to keep us safe. thankyou.  "underlying agenda... strange" 😂😂😂 strange agenda to wish to be safe in my community. well played 🤯
    • Unless they were wearing school uniform with name tags otherwise children do change their clothes you know.
    • I'd also recommend Silvano for anyone in the area looking to learn automatic, having just passed first time with 5 minors. He's a very patient teacher and ensured I learned how to drive safely above all.
    • You don't need to do the research. I had to know the numbers as a TV buyer. I analysed the potential advertising revenue and Channel Four didn't cover their costs. They had some nice 'Channel Four' signs when someone hit the ropes but, In all honesty, a lot a potential revenue was lost because most old knackers were pissed off because they couldn't perve at Carol Vorderman on 'Countdown'.       Sorry, cross-post. I was replying to Malumbu. Give me a minute, if you will. I listened to the first two sessions (today) on TMS and popped down to the pub for the evening one.   I do miss the days of Peter West, Richie Benaud and Tom Graveney on BBC2.   But, the BBC are at least putting on 'Today At The Test' on at around 7pm instead of after midnight.   And it was on the 10pm news.
