Yoga for Perimenopause Workshop, Sunday 26th January, 2-4pm at Oru, East Dulwich.

In this workshop we look at the physiology of what’s going on during perimenopause, and the triggers that can aggravate the most common and intense symptoms, such as fatigue, mood swings, hot flushes and lack of zest for life.

We will practice yoga for soothing these unsettling symptoms and also get snuggled in with some deeply soothing guided Yoga Nidra meditation to explore the transformational possibilities. We will explore a toolkit of techniques, guidance, reflection and support to help you move through your menopause journey with ease and confidence.

This workshop will provide an enjoyable and non judgemental space where women can come together and share their experiences, laugh and embrace the changes while also learning from one another. Practising yoga in the company of other women can feel supportive and reminds us that we are NOT alone.

Tiffy has been trained in Menopause Yoga by Petra Coveney in offering holistic support to women navigating the challenges and the possibilities as they move through their own unique menopause journey. No previous yoga experience is required.

    • Have been to both pubs in the evenings - whilst fine if there is only a couple of you but  quickly gets full up and noisy. It will be a Friday evening - the only time everyone can make it due to work commitments.  We went to Maria's Tortillas next to the Picture House last time and the food there was great for everyone, although we did not have the 10 and 12 year olds with us that time. I am hoping that the Persian restaurant  opposite Grove Tavern will be opening in the next 3 weeks as this would be ideal.  I tend to stick to fish, chicken and veggie meals.
    • Yes, but only until around 8pm from what i can tell!
    • I like the use of the world real estate, something we don't tend to use this side of the pond unless we are talking large pieces of land.  I understand that real estate does cover individual properties. Perhaps estate agents used to be known as real estate agents.  Let's ask AI Ah, it started when they were involved in selling the estates of the landed gentry, and then moved into the mass property market.
    • The craziest thing is there’s only one session in the morning on weekends now so it’s always MENTAL
