Route can include the off road Waterlink Way and the Park itself has an impressive Mansion and a good café (Homestead). Start 10am, Peckham Square (next to Peckham Library and Peckham Pulse Leisure Centre, SE15 5RY). Jamie leading. Planning a relaxed pace for this 13 mile ride, back by 1.30pm
Meet at Deal Porter Square next to Canada Water Library, opposite the station or meet at 10.25 at Haggerston Overground Station. For the outward leg will take the Windrush Line (Overground) to Haggerston. Both stations are step free access. Be sure to bring contactless card (£2.80 fare) or equivalent.  The ride back is full of interest including London Fields, short stretches of Regents Canal towpath, Victoria Park, Mile End Park, Limehouse Basin and St Katherines Dock. Finish over Tower Bridge and back to Canada Water via Cycleway 14. Usual easy-paced ride on lots of off road paths and some quiet streets.  Back by 12.30. Hopefully time for a coffee stop somewhere. Ride suitable for all styles of cyclist.  Everyone welcome.  Route at https://goo.gl/zuUrvb

Riders of all ages are welcome on Healthy Rides but under 18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult.  Same for “adults at risk”. Always give way to pedestrians and to other cyclists so all path users feel safe. If you cannot make a ride, please cancel so that someone else can take the place. This ride is part of a regular programme of Saturday rides, more information at https://southwarkcyclists.org.uk/healthy-rides/

    • Corbyn was unelectable - he got trashed by Boris who was a buffoon. It was a good job too because I would have hated to see Corbyn and his rag-tag bunch of far-left university politics backbenchers try to lead the country through Covid.  It is completely understandable why Starmer and the Labour Party want to purge Momentum from within their ranks and Cllr McAsh has fallen victim of that.

    • Hello.   Thanks Nigel and Hparker 😀   I've got new slots available for new students looking for a piano teacher or guitar teacher.   You could start in the new term beginning September, or I'm also available adhoc-styles through the summer holidays at times.   I teach all ages, in most styles, in lots of different ways according to how you learn/like to learn.   Give me a call or text on 07730 402336.   I have connections to lots of performance opportunities/networks too.   I run regular events /student concerts, and play in bands/perform.   Natalie.
    • So do I, but I think they are in trouble as well.  Anyway, that space wouldn't be big enough.
