Antique Hans Holbein Framed Print of an Unknown Woman £45

 
Text beneath reads: 'From the original drawing by Hans Holbein'

Size: Height 43 cms Width 35 cms
 
Beautifully rendered portrait.
Discolouration through the middle of the image.
 
In original frame probably Victorian.
Black detailed moulding with gold detail.
Some dents and nicks in frame and small section of moulding missing (see photo) on gold section and frame corner but pretty good condition for age and all part of it's character.
Pinned wood backing.
Original paper backing seal with framers printed details of G H Tucker of Bath

    • I was not suggesting anything else!   I'm not sure how you interpret what I said  as "irrelevant"? I was responding to a post saying that Corbyn was "unelectable". My point was that a  large number  of the electorate  voted for him!
    • that's exactly what happened - Brickhouse were forced to close due to rent hike and then Gail's didn't move in until covid restrictions lifted and normality resumed. Gail's would have opened much sooner as they were lined up and able to offer the landlord much higher rents. Brickhouse was a local favourite
