Well, the rumours around the East London line coming to ED was the thing that spurred on the gentrification of ED in the first place (in my opinion)! That soon got axed though.

Close to SE15 was my choice. Check out places around "The Gardens".

5 mins walk to LL.

8 min walk ED station.

12 min walk Peckham Rye (or 5 mins on a bus).

2 mins walk to the common.

3 mins walk to Tesco express.

2 mins walk of the shops on ED Road.

I love the way that Hinckley Road is identified as being 'near The Gardens".. I can almost feel the shiny suit and grasping handshake of an estate agent there.

    • It should be easy enough to point out to anyone even thinking of voting reform that should they take power they will have no impact. And will make things worse.  And if people think politicians break promises now and reform are a breath of fresh air then they ain’t seen nothing yet  but they won’t really care about immigration if reform do win  uk used to be about law and order and now we have dim talking heads everywhere unchallenged going “leave the ECHR, stuff the judges, just do it!!”   like life is that simple sweeties
    • I have been reliably informed that it's not the same group.
    • my bet is it's the same group and no amount of talking to is going to make a difference.
    • Definitely not intended  to come across as "gleeful". Quite the opposite, because developments such as this will only encourage extreme right-wingers such as Reform. And heaven help us if they ever formed a government. It's incumbent on Labour to come up with an effective  policy to "smash the gangs" otherwise we are facing Farage and his gang further down the road.
