Recommended Posts

These wood offcuts are left over from DIY projects, a variety of sizes and materials - below is a rough list of what's there, with sizing for one of the larger boards so that you can estimate how big the other stuff is.  Ideally looking for someone to take the lot, with priority to whoever can collect first

  • 2 x large 5mm redwood ply sheet
  • 1 x large 5mm hardboard sheet
  • 1 x large board of walnut veneer ply. Marks on one side where casters were previously attached. Dimensions are 1000 x 630mm
  • Bag of small ply offcuts, mostly baltic birch ply either 15 or 18mm
  • 2 x long+ narrow moisture resistant hardboard offcuts painted off white on one side
  • Handful of narrow 15mm redwood ply offcuts, might be good for shelves
  • Assorted stuff on the floor is long thin pieces: some pine, cream formica faced ply (worktop offcuts), skirting board etc
  • Other bits hidden behind the bigger boards

Collect from SE15 near the Old Nuns Head pub. DM or text 07928045062

    • Well I did say I stand to be corrected! Fair enough, their website only seemed to list three branches. Perhaps it's a franchise model?  It's known as 'agglomeration' in economics Rookie error.
    • I didn't know there was a word for that — thanks!
    • This is just normal business behaviour. That's why there are so many coffee shops in ED and shops selling gifts and interiors stuff, clothes, restaurants.  If there's more than one business of a similar type then it can benefit all of them up to a saturation point and keep up quality. It's all sounding like many think Chango has made a malicious move when it actually sounds like it's owned by one guy who has a good business that has done well.   Anyway this is all great advertising for both empanada places. Very close by is the organic grocer who sells really good value and very tasty samosas and other Indian snacks which are also worth trying.
    • Hello, Does this lovely little panther have a name? & Is he neutered & microchipped?
