Interested what the new Turkish restaurant is near the Plough? You don't mean the bar, Victus & Bibo as I think that is what took over the Le Moulin site? It's a nice bar that serves Turkish wraps.

That's the one , tried to go at the weekend but it was closed for holidays. Couldn't see their name. i thought it had only just opened so bit surprised to see it closed for hols so soon!

Haven't tried Love Dulwich yet, but been to Viet Flavours. Sadly found it rather loud, squished and a little pricey for the food.

Viet I assume would be noisy in the evening but I don’t go then - early evening and late in lunch shift is quiet. Yes, agreed a little pricey but always had good service and food. Owner is lovely. Really tough market  - was just walking down this morning noting all the eateries. Pity that Georgian Restaurant only had lunch menu but looked very tasty - would have liked to see evening as well as no idea if it is different. You got any comments on this  one ? Thanks again for your recs.

The Georgian is nice for lunch as it's a bit quieter then and better service as a result. You can order a la carte. I have had mixed experiences, but last time I went for lunch, not long ago, the food was delicious and I think it's quite reasonable considering the cost of eating out these days.

It's been open quite a while. Don't expect fancy - they have an offer for two pints of lager and a packet of crisps! But it's friendly and I really like the cosiness of the place which has more of a local and independent feel compared to so many places now. Definitely a bar and not a restaurant but the wraps sound good and are good value (although cheaper across the road).

Well the Italian on Lordship Lane  recommended here was delicious.

Thank you so very much -my party were extremely pleased with ambience, location and lovely food plus puddings to die for.

They are also on Deliveroo.

Will certainly be back when I am back in 6 weeks time.

Went past Love Dulwich at lunchtime on my way to Italian - only a party of 2 - food might be excellent but decided to give it a miss - wasn’t impressed with manager who admitted he had only been there 2 weeks. Might be being totally unfair but doubt it, as no comments since about a month ago from Pugwash.

Yes and fabulous

so happy to hear it..I think they struggled when they first opened as they were percieved as yet another Pizza place But I enjoyed my food there and thought it fairly priced too..I'm a real believer in supporting local independents running any buisness is tough these days especially in the hospitality sector.

I made it to Victus and Bibo at last. Definitely a bar vibe but they've also got a pretty decent menu. Basic but good value and tasty. Welcome addition to this end of Lordship Lane. Review here: https://eatsdulwich.substack.com/p/restaurant-review-viktor-and-bibo?r=8oe6m

It took a long time to find anything in this area that came close, & honestly, I still don't think we quite have.
