I've lost my Iphone yesterday afternoon and track it's location via Find my iphone app on my Mac, I found out that it's last location was on our street and was even giving a house number, can I knock thier door and ask if they have my iphone and ask if they want to return it? Prior to this, I keep on calling it and it just keep on ringing, even send a text but no reply at all...Now I have to block the SIM...

Have you tried sending a message via the find my iphone app, or triggering the alarm? I would not knock on someones door. I have tracked a range of apple products before and while it is accurate, its not capable of giving you a pinpoint location. My guess is, you've dropped it in the street and its still there, or someone has picked it up (waiting to hand it in, or not) or its in your house given its proximity to your address. I would use the message tool to display a message saying something along the lines of 'If found, please call XXXXX on XXXXXX'. Hope the device is on and see if you get anything. If not also try the alarm and see if you can hear it in your address or any location along your street. You be kicked in a bush, or under someones gate and have gone undetected. The tool is very useful and every bit of the app is worth a go.

    • A new roadmap (surely railmap?!) for rail accessibility has been published: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/accessible-railways-roadmap It says "approximately 56% of stations and around 66% of the 1.3 billion journeys that take place on the network have step-free access to platforms...  "£373 million has been committed over the next 5 years to deliver Access for All projects, providing step-free access from station entrances to and between platforms, alongside other essential accessibility upgrades. These works, together, will increase the number of step-free stations across Great Britain from 56% to 58%. "This improvement will make travel easier with step-free access available at stations covering an increased share of total rail journeys – from 66% up to 71%" Don't know what that means for us here: upgrading Peckham Rye would cover a lot of rail journeys but the cost has no doubt increased from the £40m figure previously quoted. So that would eat into a lot of the funding.
