Hi,

I can highly recommend Jovaner, who I've recommended here before, and has done lots of work for me over the years. He is currently doing my bathroom as we speak! He can plumb, tile, plaster and decorate to an incredibly high standard, and is probably the hardest working person I have ever met. He will also be able to get someone to take care of the wiring.  I have extremely high standards - have a look at my company West & Reid to see the level of kitchens we make :) and Jovaner always meets and goes beyond my expectations. There aren't many people as multi-talented as him, and very few with such high standards, and when it comes to doing bathrooms that's exactly what you need.

He will also work on a day rate (usually £260 per day I think) which, when you have someone who works as hard as him, is by far the fairest and best value way to work imo. If you want to have a look at my bathroom or ring for a chat feel free to call me (07745553232).

If you are wondering why I'm going to so much trouble to recommend him it's because he's simply so good, and every time he does a new job I am reminded of how good he is. But he constantly undersells himself, underprices his work, and has such attention to detail and such high standards that he rarely earns what he deserves for the work he does!

Really recommend Lukasz and his team at L&L Building - they have just done something similar for me and I’m really pleased.

    • DKH was two form entry, it is now one form entry to cope with the fact it was far more under subscribed than other schools in the area. They had actually combined year groups into single classes, 3/4 and 5/6.  When a school changes name, it’s usually because of a bad reputation perhaps the results.  The new name is dry with no history unlike its current name. It’s a very sketchy decision. It’s an expensive vanity project for someone.  What  will happen if the name change does not increase applications to the school?
    • @first mate I assume Alice made a mistake, as she removed her reaction.  I was wondering about park wardens. As I said, there was one there last night, who was incredibly helpful and proactive. As well as bringing me to the police, he caught up with a young guy on a bike who'd earlier been the victim of an attempted theft by these kids and linked him up with the police too. But I do wonder, as I've only very occasionally seen him riding around, how many they have and what hours they patrol. I've no doubt they'd be a strong deterrent if they had a better presence. They were nowhere to be seen the first time around.  Update: I've just found this: https://services.southwark.gov.uk/community-safety/community-wardens The guy in the photo at the bottom of the page was the lovely warden of last night and I've just now remembered him telling me he's based in Burgess Park. Anyway, there needs to be more of them, as I rarely see one in Peckham.
