My kids have outgrown this chair now, so it's looking for a new home. This would be £150 brand new, but mine has 3 years of use (though basically none in the last year since we changed to an e-bike). Two noticeable things to call out:

  1. the red reflector light on the back fell out, never to be seen again
  2. a fox chewed the foot strap one night in our back garden

Both can be replaced by Thule, if I'm not mistaken. There is a plastic tie on the back that you may be able to see - I had used that to clip on a flashing red light for safety (the reflector that was there did not flash).

And to confirm, this is the version of the chair that is attached to the bike seat post (rather than a pannier rack) and the mechanism for attaching the seat is included, along with the key that lets you remove the seat from the attachment.

Collection from SE22 close to Dulwich Library.

    • Doesn't surprise me that you expressed your appreciation of foxes. You feel strongly about them, fine. Perhaps they don't leave a nightly pile of poo in your garden or you don't need to deal with it. Life is too short to argue the point. I have neighbours who feed the foxes and tell me the rubbish  they feed them. Foxes are wild creatures, by feeding them [people are making them reliant on humans to feed them. I guess they don't have to clear up their nightly mess. It actually becomes a tiresome chore and hence my loathing of the fox. They are a protected vermin. Don't mess or come into my garden. no problem, leave their mess it becomes an issue.
    • Some folk are constantly putting household refuse, which includes food, in litter bins, which crafty foxes then liberate and eat (as well as leaving non-edibles strewn all over the place). If you’re doing this, please stop and use your own bin!  Why use bleach? It’s harmful to all forms of life. Just rinse the poo away with tepid, soapy water.
