Hi, I'm a newbie. Moved in on Fellbrigg Road in February this year, would love to meet some new people,

If you haven't been to the EDT since the refurb, to get upstairs you now come in through the main entrance, turn right and go through the door marked Lounge Bar.

Then go to the top of the stairs and turn right. We will be in the area past the top bar (which will be closed, so please  get a drink at  the bar downstairs before you come up!)

As said above, please message me in advance if you need help in getting up stairs, and we can arrange it.

This is TONIGHT!

From 7pm in the lovely new  lounge bar upstairs at the EDT/East Dulwich Tavern (the pub at the  end of Lordship Lane,  on the corner  by the roundabout at Goose Green).

Please buy a drink at the downstairs bar before you come upstairs, as the bar upstairs won't be open (purely so you won't have to come back down again once you've got upstairs. Well, not immediately, anyway!)

The entrance to the lounge bar is now through a door INSIDE the pub, on the right as you come in through the main doors.

Turn right at the top of the stairs. We will be in the area by the windows.

Please message me on here  in good time if you will need help getting up the stairs. I probably won't be checking my phone after 7pm so may not see messages after that, though I'm sure the friendly bar staff would help if needed.

Looking forward to meeting old and new faces.

(I am face blind, so please don't be offended if I ought to recognise you and don't. I often don't remember names either.

I'm just mentioning this as I know I can seem rude otherwise. It's an actual thing. I now have a little card to carry around 🤣 ).

A lovely night and conversation, and a great venue!

Fewer people than expected, though 😥

If you were intending  to come but couldn't make it, hope to see you next time!

Think we will stick to this venue as it's friendly, comfy and convenient!

Nice that the drinks have started up again. I used to arrange them when they first started and I met some good friends through them. We used to get 30+ people going at one point. The karaoke night at The Wishing Well was very memorable!
