🎨 Art Classes for Children & Teens in East Dulwich & Herne Hill – Enrol Now!

The Arts Factory is excited to announce that registration is now open for our children and teen art classes. Whether your child has a passion for art, could benefit from a calming activity to ease anxiety, wants to make new friends, or used to love creating but has drifted away from it, our classes are the perfect way to reignite their artistic curiosity and passion.

🖌️ Kids' Art Clubs (Ages 6–10)

Our after-school art clubs offer a fun and engaging environment where children can explore a variety of materials and techniques. Led by award-winning teacher Lynn Hutchison, who has over 30 years of experience teaching art in London schools, these sessions are designed to nurture creativity and boost confidence. 

Summer  Term 2025 Schedule:

  • Tuesday Club:  4:00–5:15 PM

All sessions are held at the Goose Green Centre, East Dulwich. Each session is £20, bookable in half-termly blocks.

🎨 Teen Art Clubs (Ages 11–16)

Our teen art clubs provide a supportive space for older children to develop their artistic skills and express themselves.Under Lynn's guidance, teens can explore various art forms, from drawing and painting to mixed media projects. These classes are ideal for those looking to build a portfolio or simply enjoy creating art in a social setting.

Students at The Arts Factory have achieved remarkable success, with several artworks selected for the prestigious Royal Academy's Young Artists' Summer Show. Recent winners include:

    • Hello! We are relocating abroad and so will be withdrawing our two children (ages 4 and 6) from St Dunstan’s College (Catford). If any family is considering enrolling children of a similar age, now would be an excellent opportunity—we’re required to pay full‑term fees unless the places are taken.     • Thanks for your reply. I’ve subscribed to Ancestry a few times in the past but felt I wasn’t using it enough to warrant keeping up the subscription.    
    • Hi, I saw your post and just wanted to say that the incident you’re referring to did happen in the late 1980s at Dawson’s Heights. The person involved was named Carl Salawa, and he had just turned 18 years old at the time. Like you, I haven’t been able to find any news articles or official reports about it, If anyone remembers anything more about that time or incident, I’d really appreciate hearing about it. Thanks for sharing what you were told—it means a lot to know others remember.
