On Saturday May 10th we will have 2 rides, a new ride to Ravensbury Park on the Wandle and a second to one of our favourite destinations, Beckenham Place Park
Ride leaves from the main entrance to Herne Hill Station (on the Railton Road side, What 3 Words:  ///lists.spoken.couches). Start time 9am – earlier than usual. Gloria leading her first ride for us on a new route. Route via Josephne Ave, Balham High Rd, Cycleway 7/A24, Morden Hall Park, Ravensbury Park. Coffee break then return via Clapham Cmmon and Narbonne Ave. About 24km. Back around  1pm.
10am to 1pm.  Start/finish Dulwich Clock Café, in the middle of Dulwich Park. Eduardo leading. Route will include the delightful off-road Waterlink Way (National Route 21) and follow Ravensbourne and Pool Rivers to Lower Sydenham. Then on quiet streets to Beckenham Place Park. Coffee stop at The Homestead Cafe. Return by similar route.
Riders of all ages are welcome on Healthy Rides but under 18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Same for “adults at risk”. Always give way to pedestrians and to other cyclists so all path users feel safe.  If you cannot make a ride, please cancel so that someone else can take the place.
This ride is part of a regular programme of Saturday rides, more information at https://southwarkcyclists.org.uk/healthy-rides/
