What's that smell on Townley Road?

I don't think it's sewage, I don't think it's weed but it's familiar and not very nice. 

Mainly on the corner of Lordship Lane/Townley Road.

I noticed that today too, at that corner of the Alleyn's field. Isn't it just the same as the habitual one from the school field in Greendale, just after the rail bridge?  I've never quite fixed on how and exactly where that one's coming from, but have mentally tagged it as cut grass probably fermenting.
