Book donation suggestion

Hi everyone. Just wondering if there are any organisations who would welcome a bunch of books which includes English classics and plays from my uni studies? Of course there is the book exchange where I will drop the more mainstream books or charity shops.

Try Deptford Methodist Mission who took lots of book from me for free.

The Oxfam Bookshop, 20 Half Moon Lane, near Herne Hill station is a good place to drop off books.

Thanks. I dropped off the books that I thought would be most helpful for them already this week.

Thanks for the advice. I have advertised the ones that may be of use for studies on this forum then dropped off some at Oxfam in Herne Hill and others at the Bell End House book exchange. Still a few more to drop which I will likely give to Mind on LL who I like.

Surely nobody is going to want books in poor condition, unless they are rare and possibly valuable?

It is intimidating looking through the book sections now.  I sometimes wonder if they're stocking bookshops' remainders.

OTOH, when I put  some books out in a cardboard box for taking, it was  encouraging to see that a fair proportion of those taken were aged hardbacks.
