Dear families,

My name is Ilaria and I?m working like au pair in East Dulwich . Unfortunately I will finish with my current family at the end of September, so I?m looking for a new family for starting in October!

Something about me:

- I?m a 23 years old Italian girl and I?m a Midwife ( I took my degree last November)

- I decided to go here because I want to improve my English, meet new people, deepen my knowledge in obstetrics and why not, work in English health care in the future!

- I don?t smoke, I?m a creative person, I love children and animals

- Some of my interests are to read books, the photography, cakes and interior design

Feel free to contact me if you require additional information. I'm available for Skype or face to face interview.

Hi Ilaria,

We live in East Dulwich and are looking for a new au pair from October (for our 3 children - ages 9, 7 and 4 - all at local school). It would be great to meet you if you are still available and interested.

I hope to meet you.

Thanks,

Jules.

    • So what is the issue? You want compensation for the loss of value, or you want to expedite the matter?
    • No. What happened? I actually thought, considering it was what we used to call Guy Fawkes Day last night, the loud noises from  fireworks ended remarkably early. About 9pm? Maybe I just fell asleep and didn't hear any later ones. Do people actually burn Guys any more? Apart from at places like Lewes, where I believe they still have Bonfire Societies and burn effigies of various political figures etc.
    • The accompaniment to our "Christmas Pudding" aka Nothing-Whatever-Like-A- Christmas-Pudding last year  at The Cherry Tree was "brandy butter ice-cream." If it had ever been near any brandy, the brandy must have been waved in its direction from a very great distance. Same with butter. The ice cream tasted like bog standard "vanilla" from a catering tub. At least it did bear some resemblance to ice cream. Whereas the "Christmas Pudding" bore no resemblance whatever to any Christmas Pudding I have ever seen or tasted in my many  decades of seeing and tasting Christmas Puddings. Oh, and Cinzano Bianco. Bleurgh. My sister used to drink that. 🤢
