SeaHibiscus
Yes, I have. We have gone fruit (seed/nut and mushroom) foraging in and out of London. I'll just recommend a couple of places I've found most rewarding. Wormwood Scrubs: you'll find blackberries, plums, sloes and apple trees. Leith Hill (train journey to Holmwood station, then either bike ride/cab to the top of the hill or a very long walk): bilberries galore! Be prepared to spend a few hours picking. It's a lovely area to explore and I am sure there are other wild fruits (I've only been twice due to the distance). Edited June 20 by SeaHibiscus I added more specific details and I corrected a spelling error. 2 Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/363248-fruit-picking-without-a-car/#findComment-1710962 Share on other sites
OutOfFocus
During July/ August there are a a lot of blackberries on the path to the east of hackbridge station. And no doubt other places. 1 Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/363248-fruit-picking-without-a-car/#findComment-1711043 Share on other sites
