Ikea desk - £50

Recommended Posts

Hi all! I am new on here but live in Peckham around the library and police station, I’m moving house in about a month and need to sell some furniture in order to downsize a bit, I have the desk in my flat in good condition, I can disassemble it or leave it as is if you’d like, but I can only offer it to be picked up from me as I don’t have a car. Hopefully someone here will find some use for it but let me know and we can sort out details privately! It is the ikea TONSTAD desk brown stained oak veinier if you want to get a more detail description and look at the desk online :)

    • That hasn't been my experience, but admittedly it was a long time ago. For example, I had an excellent cutter at one of the central London Charles Worthington salons, I think it was in Covent Garden. I would be highly surprised if anyone who worked there was allowed to keep their own book of clients' details, because the salon itself  obviously wants to keep their clients. I can't remember the exact details, but if memory serves she left, and when I asked where she had gone  I was told she had "gone travelling", which may or may not have been true (I am not someone who keeps up a constant conversation with whoever is cutting my hair, which may be a surprise to those who know me 😂). The next person I had there made an absolute dog's breakfast of my cut, to such an extent that I had to have several (free) cuts from somebody else at that salon to bring it back to some semblance of what it was supposed to look like.
    • Does anybody have a wall hanger which they no longer need? It's for an acoustic guitar. Thanks!
