Hi everyone,

My name is Indigo and I am an experienced tutor keen to take on students for GCSE and A-level online tutoring - Psychology, Chemistry and Biology. I use a very good digital set-up, including a digital whiteboard and screen sharing. I have tutored students in these subjects and have seen improvements in their grades.

I am about to start a B.Sc. in Psychology at Liverpool University this September.  I achieved A*AA at A-Level (Psychology, Chemistry, Biology) and 10 GCSE's (grades 8-9) as a student at Alleyn's School.  I am just finishing my gap year during which I spent January to May teaching in a rural primary school in Ghana. I used my strong communication skills to really engage the children in science, developing interactive teaching methods and visual aids to improve learning.

If you are interested in hiring me to tutor your child, please feel free to contact me: [email protected], 07465 763509

Many thanks,

Indigo Skinnard

Reviews:

'Indigo is a great tutor. Very focused on giving the student what they need. She is proactive and plans lessons to really get the most out of the tutor time. After just a few sessions in chemistry my daughter felt much more confident' (Jemima, mother)

'Indigo tutored our son for his GCSE chemistry. He's dyslexic and was feeling very low in academic confidence. Indigo worked with him to understand his way of learning and transformed both his confidence and his grades . He enjoyed working with her. She is bright , kind, reliable , and is an excellent communicator. I would absolutely recommend her' (Sarah, mother)

    • At the time of posting previously, we had no idea of the dates we would be having the children. The maths place - you pay for a course of lessons . The coding session would be good but you need to book well in advance. Also grandson has been doing coding since 6 years old. He now has a 'mentoring role' at his primary school as his knowledge of this subject is years above his chronological age. Dates are still up in the air as their father is trying to juggle leave from a new job in the north of the country.
    • why not have a pasty shop - we could have Cornish pasties, Jamaican patties, empanadas from all the different regions.... I like all three.  I'm still going to support the Chacarero family business, as I don't support chains, just as I don't buy anything from Gail's, Nero, Starbucks etc.
    • Thought it had been a fish and chip shop at one time?
    • Try Gentrification, those with more money than sense who constantly want something different, when pie and mash isn't good enough for them.  "Argentinian Cornish pasties" give3 me a proper Cornish pastie any day of the week, at least I'd be supporting something traditionally British.   ps. tin hat at the ready........................🤣
