Hi! I just signed the urgent open letter to stand with UN human rights expert Francesca Albanese. The Trump administration just issued sanctions against her, because she stood up for people in Gaza! We can't stay silent — join me here to show Francesca people around the world have her back ✉️ ✍️ - https://secure.avaaz.org/campaign/en/stand_with_francesca_1_1/?whatsapp&utm_source=whatsapp&utm_medium=social_share&utm_campaign=54794&share_location=post_action

I share your sentiments, but I'm not sure suggesting she be nominated for a Nobel peace prize counts as "not staying silent", under the circumstances.

Not that I have any better suggestions.

I feel these days that I am living in some sort of dystopian movie.

I'm not sure why Jazzer finds your post amusing 🙄

Update: 'Dozens of Members of the European Parliament are gearing up to nominate Francesca Albanese for the Nobel Peace Prize, and several Nobel Laureates are already standing behind her and Gaza doctors!'

    • I definitely have some grass cuttings, and various bits of plant cuttings etc, which has been piling up in my garden. I’ve been meaning to bag it up, but don’t have much time on account of two small children.  if that helps?
    • Walking around Belgravia and Knightsbridge stopping to look at window displays in Harvey Nics and Harrods. Tea at The Ritz and Burlington Arcade. Theatre without doubt - concert at Royal Albert Hall. Must go to Fortnum and Mason and Foyles Bookshop. London is magical at Christmas Time whoever and whatever one does. Personally, avoid Winter whatever it's called in Hyde Park - usually near Hyde Park Corner - got it Winter Wonderland. Expensive, tacky. See what’s on at Sachi Gallery in Sloane Square - sounds really crazy but a walk thru any of the parks and even a row on the Sepentine plus visit that gallery.
    • Eynella road is nowhere near the Herne Hill Oxfam shop. Do you mean Stradella?
    • Both great ideas. I went round that house in the early eighties (I think it was, may have been later),  but I think the tour is differently done now (and a lot more expensive!)
