I am a violin teacher, Bachelor of Music (hons), PGCE, with 10 years experience teaching privately and in schools.

My teaching is influenced by the Suzuki method as well as Kodaly and eurythmics methods. I tailor lessons to suit the needs of the individual. All ages and levels are welcome, including those who have had a break from the violin and those who would like to play just for fun. I trained classically at Chethams school of music and the Royal Northern College of Music. I have performed baroque, classical, tango and folk violin and am open to teaching any style that interests you. My lessons include musicianship skills (rhythm, pitch, composition, improvisation) that are transferable should you or your child, later on, wish to learn another instrument as well as (or instead of) the violin. Feel free to contact me if you would like any other information: 07919098012; [email protected]

My rate is:

?45 per hour

I have a current DBS

Thanks, Amelia

    • Hello.   Thanks Nigel and Hparker 😀   I've got new slots available for new students looking for a piano teacher or guitar teacher.   You could start in the new term beginning September, or I'm also available adhoc-styles through the summer holidays at times.   I teach all ages, in most styles, in lots of different ways according to how you learn/like to learn.   Give me a call or text on 07730 402336.   I have connections to lots of performance opportunities/networks too.   I run regular events /student concerts, and play in bands/perform.   Natalie.
    • So do I, but I think they are in trouble as well.  Anyway, that space wouldn't be big enough.
    • I'm not talking about Starmer. I was responding to a post which  said that  Corbyn was unelectable. How people voted in the "more hotly contested election" is irrelevant. Corbyn wasn't leading the Labour Party then. Starmer was. And the turnout for Labour reflects that.
    • Reeves says she's in charge and no no's Rayners plan, what happens now?
