Dead cat found in our garden

does anyone know of a missing tabby cat? I’m afraid we have just found a body in our front garden on Barry rd. not traumatised, looks like it’s asleep

A vet might be able to trace its owners if it's chipped.

Also I believe twb who posts on here has a mobile scanner.

Hi Busterb,

Yesterday I turned up with a scanner & towels, hoping to take a deceased tabby down to TNV. The body was moved moments before arrival & had not been turned in to any vets, rescues or animal hospitals. I am wondering if this could have been the same cat & if someone just tried to move the tabby further away from the road.

In any case, if you haven't been able to get someone to scan or take down to a vet, I can scan tomorrow morning.
