Of course they do, watching cookery shows and buying cook books is a national pastime.

However you raise a good point that some people claim they are time poor and end up eating out / takeaways as sometimes a quick macciedee is cheaper and easier than making a quick nutrious family meal. 

However to put it in balance, not many people have the knowledge, confidence and time to cook Persian so good luck to team persepolis on this venture.

Agree with you - just like Love Dulwich. At least it is healthier than pizza and god knows how many chicken, chips and burger places on lane..

I hate cooking and I can't cook.

I live on stuff out of the freezer which I cook once every six months.

I exaggerate only slightly.

I cook at home - almost 95% of what we eat at home is cooked from scratch.  But eating out is more than just having dinner, it is socialising and doing something different.

Also,sometimes it is nice to pay someone else to cook and clear up.

I remember when I was about 6/7 and I threw a tantrum because I demanded more stuff from the sweet shops, so my Uncle threw my newly brought K-Zone Magazine up on the roof of Old Barcelona. I had was devastated because I had been waiting all day to buy the magazine. Oh well, that'll teach me for being greedy 😄

It's a difficult site to make work - being located quite far from the other pubs and eateries of Lordship Lane. I really hope they will be successful. Will be a welcome addition.

I really hope so too, but they aren't going to get much passing trade, and parking round there isn't easy.

At least it is on the bus route - I do not use the car if I am dining out in ED as parking is so bad.  Cannot wait to see what is on the menu.
