I would like to recommend Tom, having used him for a couple of months of last-minute GCSE English Lit help from March this year.

My Year 11 son had a series of remote lessons (Tom stepped up to offer some extra sessions in the Easter holidays) and found Tom's sessions fun and very informative. He helped tackle the specific issues we wanted to address on certain texts and to step up his level of analysis to aim for the highest grades. I also felt Tom was very easy to deal with in arranging the sessions.

I found Tom on this forum, he is based in Peckham.

Thank you very much for the kind words.

I have a couple of online slots free - please don't hesitate to get in touch. I can also tutor before school in-person on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Please find some details about my experience, tutoring approach, feedback/reviews and rates here at my FirstTutors profile

    • Would this not be a complaint better aimed at the council? Isn't it an anti social behaviour issue?  I think of myself as pretty live-and-let-live and feel like a miserable cow for saying this, but I do think I might complain. Personally I love the sound of fireworks but our dog is under the table, shaking like a leaf night after night and collapses in the street when he hears the noise.  I'm worried his heart'll give out.
    • The lower / no bang noise fireworks sound great.    Is there anywhere local selling those?
    • This petition to reduce the noise of fireworks is currently going through Parliament https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/738192
    • Have you complained to the solicitor directly and did they respond within the 8 weeks they have under their code of conduct - I presume they have and this is why you have escalated further to the SRA? If he doesn't respond in a timely fashion per the SRA code of conduct then I am sure they will need to take action.
