There is the Blue Brick Cafe for vegetarian food too.

Their food is lovely, but unfortunately the waiting time for it is sometimes so long, even when they don't seem particularly busy, that we no longer go there.

We used to just accept it, but seeing people who came in long after us getting their food before us was the last straw after we had waited well over half an hour, if memory serves. It might have been nearly an hour, but I can't remember exactly, it was a while ago.

We paid for our drinks (which had come quite quickly) and went to have lunch elsewhere. We reckoned we would get our food quicker that way. We were very  hungry by this time!

It's a shame, because we would like to support them as they are a small local business with great food, but there seems to be some problem on the kitchen side (we were assured that our order had been given to the kitchen as soon as we made it - we asked earlier, as we thought maybe it had been forgotten, but no).

Love Blue Brick and have had some lovely meals there,, never had a problem with service, always so accommodating..

Try and support local business, as much as I can.. on a recent visit, clapped my hands that Gail’s was done.. pity, as staff were great at the start, just went down hill ….

Be, nice not to see another eateries..chain..  all for supporting individuals.

If one was going to use those things as a reason not to support the party, one would never support any party, and would never vote. So far as I am concerned, the Greens represent my views on most issues better than any other party that I am currently aware of. I really am not interested in dissecting the details of one or two specific instances,  for many reasons, not least that I have no direct knowledge of them and don't know what may be a reliable source.
    • Was it the promise to act as a "strong voice" for Muslims that sealed the deal? The Green Party hired Abi Wilkinson from the Sultana wing of Your Party just before the Manchester by-election. She's on record as denying sexual violence during the 7 October 2023 attacks on Israel by Hamas, which is not true. I wonder if she was also responsible for the dodgy text of the Urdu and Bengali comms the Green Party pumped out in the last days of the campaign? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sexual_and_gender-based_violence_in_the_October_7_attacks https://www.reddit.com/r/ukpolitics/comments/1rhrd36/fury_as_green_party_spin_doctor_denies_women_were/
