SuzanneH
Hi, I'm a bass player looking for people to play music with! I played a lot in my 30s, gigging around all the usual North London venues in a band playing original material. But since having a family I haven't managed to get back into it. I'm now in my 40s ...I'm mega rusty, but would quickly get back up to my former level of (ahem) excellence, given the incentive! I play fretless but not in an annoying Jaco Pastorius sort of a way, I'm more of a groove player. I can also play keyboards and sing backing vocals. I play flute too.I'm fairly open minded in my musical tastes, would be happy to play covers, rock, pop, whatever. I like Latin and have played some jazz (not for a long time though). I should also point out, I'm a GIRL (well, lady actually) - which seems to be a selling point for bass players, not sure why. I'd like to join a gigging band as I'm not a big fan of bands that seem to spend their lives rehearsing but never really quite get out there. But to be honest anything would be an improvement on allowing my bass guitar to gather dust in a corner, like it has for the past 10 years.Get in touch!Suzi Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/36523-bass-player-looking-for-a-band/ Share on other sites
