Have just been told by someone that observed from a bus, that a grey cat was attacked about ten minutes ago on the grass verge outside maxwell court on dulwich common. If you live closeby and own a grey cat, please check they're ok. Don't have much information I'm afraid apart from one dog was a jack Russell and the other looked like a Hungarian viszla.

I hope the cat got away, this isn't meant to fuel any anti dog posts but to hopefully inform someone that might be nearby and able to look for an injured cat or missing theirs.

The lady that owns the cat got it straight away and rushed it to the vet immediately. It was an absolutely savage attack!! I'm unsure whether the cat made it or not as I've not seen my neighbour since. Very unfortunate, but also avoidable in my opinion.

Oh I'm glad the owner was there and able to deal with it right away. Thanks for letting me know, I hope the cat makes it. My friend said it was awful but the bus was moving so didn't see the outcome, she did say someone was there trying to stop it.

I hope your neighbour and her cat recover soon!

I read somewhere that Edinburgh is doing this next year? Charges of this kind are becoming common around the world. I think it absolutely makes sense for Southwark and other boroughs are bound to follow.
