Term-time Nursery for 1-year old?

Hi wise forum folk,

Though not new to the area I am new to finding nurseries! I am looking for a term-time only nursery for a 1-year old, preferably not too far from SE21/SE22.

Does anyone know of such a thing?

I have never come across such a thing - just because the demand is so high for full time all-year-round places.

A childminder might offer more flexibility.

DUCKS - which is part of Dulwich College.

The waiting list at DUCKS for a non-sibling, non-child of a teacher place is 3+ years from initial registration (I.e. Register when first pregnant for a 3+ nursery place, and then only if you're lucky), so DUCKS might not work for you if you're not yet registered. I think that the Dulwich Montessori and the Villa are also term time only, and maybe also the Dulwich Village pre-school.

You might have more luck sharing a nanny with a family that has older kids, they only need the nanny during the day in the hols, in term time you have her (or him).

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. It's not looking good (the term-time only ones have such short days as well, understandably, but not great for us) but at least I know I'm not missing something!
