Large ikea sofa bed available. It comes apart easily for transportation - collected it in two trips using a Golf.

Very comfortable as a sofa and as a bed. Storage in the base for bedding etc.

2.4m long x 0.9m wide when used as a sofa. The 'bed' area is 2.0m x 1.4m. The back is 0.75m high.

  Yes. Google street view shows one on this spot from 2012 to2020. I agree that they provide a useful service. I recently passed one and it was being used by someone who looked like they could be 'of no fixed abode' making a free call.
