I’m a comments moderator - for a national newspaper, where I work full-time 10-4 each day M-F (with regular flexi-Fridays) plus some occasional weekend mornings 10-12.

Too much detail before and wrong tense

I am a prolific poster on a local discussion forum where people regularly get in to discussions that gets their full blood up.

Can you advise if I should stop before, like my priest says, I go blind.

I reckon you're a fire starter.  Said in good humour.  On Googling to check I wasn't being offensive fire starter is an American term for fire lighter (as in a product to light a fire).  And twisted fire starter is wood shavings dipped in wax.  A flint can also be a fire starter, as was Keith Flint.

Ah twisted fire starter - is what I use to light the logs in my log burner. I use kiln dried hardwood logs so exempt from any particulate pollution concerns.

I found being under the table writing things too restricted so went back to my old job of comments moderating for a (slightly) left of centre national newspaper.
