Beigel is a Yiddish word which has been translated to bagel - beigel (specifically in Brick Lane) are traditional, denser, and chewier jewish style bread rings, often boiled and baked in wood-fired oven.
bagel is lighter, sweeter Americanised version
in my house you’ll get beigels!
Honest is a much better restaurant than Gourmet. Quality of the produce is higher quality.

And the original post only mentioned Whateley Road (which has been clear of leaves whenever I have walked down it) and another unspecified road.
My question was directed at CPR Dave, who (as was clear in the post I quoted) said "The streets round here are a disgrace".
