Ruskin
I have a rowing machine that I'd like to pass on to an upcycle charity so that a health-challenged person can benefit from some static, indoor exercise. I've used it throughout the pandemic and apart from drive belt and a wiring repair, it works fine. Spanner and instructions included. Thanks. Pugwash
i thought BHF had stopped doing collections. We had them regularly to collect items after a Give and Take Event but they informed us that since Covid they do not offer this sservice. They do collect actually and there's a form to complete - but they insist that whatever you're passing on needs to be in a resellable condition so I won't send it on this occasion. https://www.bhf.org.uk/shop/donating-goods/book-furniture-collection-near-me Edited August 28 by Ruskin Added details Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/366218-upcycle-suggestion-please/#findComment-1718323 Share on other sites
ComtesseDeSpair
Try contacting Emmaus on Lewisham High Road. We donated some weights and a weights bench there a couple of years ago, they collected. They did say it's space-dependent whether they'll take goods which need a bit of TLC before being saleable, but worth a try. 1 Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/366218-upcycle-suggestion-please/#findComment-1718336 Share on other sites
