🌸 Motherhood begins with a transformation - emotional, physical, societal, and identity-shifting. It’s called Matrescence. But no one tells us that. Instead, we’re left wondering why we feel overwhelmed, critical of ourselves, or like we’re not doing it “right.”

Join Tiffy (yoga teacher + postnatal doula) and special guest Eve Ostrovskaya (ICF-certified matrescence coach + founder of Just Matrescence™) for a nurturing workshop created especially for new mamas in their first weeks and months of motherhood.

This is your space to pause, breathe, and reconnect with yourself – not just as a mother, but as a whole woman in transition.

What to expect:
🧘 Gentle yoga + simple breathwork with Tiffy – practices of kindness and self-care to support postpartum recovery, reconnect with your changing body, promote healing, and safely regain strength.
🌀 A women’s circle with Eve to help you:

  • Understand why self-judgment shows up so strongly in early motherhood

  • See what’s really going on beneath the guilt, comparison, and self-doubt

  • Learn simple, science-backed tools to quieten your inner critic

  • Leave with a daily practice to start speaking to yourself with kindness

💛 This isn’t about fixing anything. It’s about softening the inner voice that says you’re not enough – because how you speak to yourself in these early days matters.

There’ll also be time to chat, meet other new mamas (and babies!), and end with a cuppa + sweet treat together.

Come exactly as you are - tired, emotional, milk-stained. You’ll be met with warmth, honesty, and zero pressure.

Any questions at all, please reach out.

    • Tommy has serviced our boiler for a number of years now and we can’t recommend him enough. Punctual, polite and always super transparent he is a great person to work with.
    • New thought for you… since people have recommended the Chinese place in Uplands Road, no idea whether it would accommodate all of you, why don’t you pop in, chat to th em and see as a one off whether they would stay  open?  Prob going to now say, your tribe don’t eat Chinese as you have already mentioned not all eat Vietnamese…  My comment about £20/30 per head was including two/ three courses… now a days a main course is around £15.00…  Hope Persian is open…more for your sake! Following with interest….       Friday night in my experience is going to be noisy where ever you go…
    • Have been to both pubs in the evenings - whilst fine if there is only a couple of you but  quickly gets full up and noisy. It will be a Friday evening - the only time everyone can make it due to work commitments.  We went to Maria's Tortillas next to the Picture House last time and the food there was great for everyone, although we did not have the 10 and 12 year olds with us that time. I am hoping that the Persian restaurant  opposite Grove Tavern will be opening in the next 3 weeks as this would be ideal.  I tend to stick to fish, chicken and veggie meals.
