According to the website no further updates and no 63, N63 or 363 running up Peckham Rye or Woodvale onto the Palace.  Seems we've been forgotten about.

Try the P12 to Brenchley Gardens/Forest Hill Rd, or P13 along Underhill Rd

PECKHAM RYE, SE22: ROUTES 363 and N63 are on diversion in both directions via Barry Road and Lordship Lane due to emergency Thames Water works. Towards Crystal Palace, bus stops from 'Friern Road' (WP) to 'Underhill Road' (MC) will be missed. Towards Lambeth Road, bus stops from 'Underhill Road / Melford Riad' (MB) to Friern Road (WB) will be missed. Please allow extra time for your journey.

It's not just the buses which are not able to go down Peckham Rye. As the road's closed outside Harris Boys school, no vehicles are able to drive in either direction between Barry Road and Forest Hill Rd.

There's a constant stream of traffic going straight on past the 'road closed' sign at the crossroads with Dunstan's & Colyton Rds and then doing three-point turns and coming back to the traffic lights again. Frustrated drivers are trying to find a way round, causing congestion/ driving too fast when they can, in the narrow local side streets.

@thameswater

How long are the works on Peckham Rye between the junction with Barry Road and Forest Hill Road going to take to repair? The 63 and 363 are suspended and on diversion, leaving Peckham Rye, Forest Hill Road, Woodvale through to Lordship Land SE22 with no bus service.

Just posted the above on Thames Water Twitter, the more that post, the more likely we are to get some answers and hopefully work on the repair.

    • Hi there  We live on Woodwarde Road backing on to Alleyns Top Field.  Our cat Gigi has gone missing — it’s been about 24 hours now. She is a cream Bengal. Could you please check sheds, garages, or anywhere she might have got stuck please? And if you could keep an eye out or share on any local groups/forums, we’d really appreciate it. Photo attached.   Thanks so much! My name is Jeff on 07956 910068.
    • Colin.    One for the old school.   Just saying.
    • Signed, and I will share it elsewhere, thank you for posting this. It's got nearly 70,000 signatures at present, and apparently runs till February.
    • There’s a couple of Gov petitions going on in relation to fireworks at the moment but this one is for banning them entirely except organised displays if anyone wants to sign. This is the only sensible way forward in my view. No one should be able to let them off in gardens or anywhere like that, it’s crazy. I am surprised some of you have said it hasn’t been as bad this year. I live near DKH Saino and it’s been absolutely terrible my way for days. This petition gained about 20,000 just in the last day or so so clearly the appetite is there! https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/732559
