I worked with Gary Skinner from First Choice Decorating as i read good things about him on this Forum! Him and his team delivered what i needed, which was lots of different things- kitchen refit, bathroom re tile, cupboards made, couple of radiators re fitted. It would have been a nightmare getting all the separate tradespeople myself whereas Gary organised the lot. His kitchen fitter in particular was a very fine tradesman and super time efficient. Gary has a good eye for detail/ quality assurance and is keen to please the client which was reassuring. He is also a ball of energy and a busy man-very communicative and dealt with any problems quickly.

    • I find it goes on in all council leisure centres that people book places the moment they become available on the app then cancel in the 3 or 4 hours before the reserved slot so as not to incur a pentalty fine.. Its annoying but thats what happens... I just keep checking my emails and the app and sure enough a places often open up the night or a few hours before.
    • Thanks for the reminder! And if people have time, please pass on any sightings to our Wildlife Group as they compare the local numbers with the national count. Email [email protected]. thank you!
    • I am not trying to "emotionally blackmail" anybody. What a very strange thing to say.
    • For anyone interested in the conservation of birds, here's a reminder that It's the RSPB  bird survey this weekend. Anyone can take part and it's completely free. Just register on the RSPB website and download your bird identifier. It takes just one hour of your time to count the number and type of bird you see in your garden or local park. The more people taking part, the better we can track how well our birds are doing. It's a great activity to do with the kids and grandkids.
