For sale: Islabikes Trailerbike / Tag along and 2x mounting racks.

Although Islabikes stopped making these a while ago, the build is high quality, like all Islabikes and will last years. This proved to be an amazing accessory when our daughters were younger and as it comes with two separate mounting racks, it means two people can do the school/nursery pick ups with their bike or share the joy on family bike rides (the extra peddle power can actually really help in some scenarios!)

Features a Shimano 6 gear shifter and thanks to the fact that it fixes to a rear mounting rack (and not your seat post like cheaper, modern trailers), it offers better stability if you child moves or wiggles around. Attaching and detaching the trailer is also really easy and quick thanks to 2 sprung lock pins which tighten/losen with your hands (no tools required). Pictures show the trailerbike attached to my Trek hybrid (the Trek not included in the sale 🙂 )

There are of course some signs of wear on the frame: a few chips and scratches but the mechanics work brilliantly.

I've just had a brand new chain and pedal set fitted for selling, so this is working like new!

Collection from SE13 near GlassMill Leisiure.

    • I had lots of books to donate to the HH Oxfam bookshop a few months ago.                I phoned them, and they told me I could drive to the rear of the shop, where parking is easy.  They gave me directions, and came out to meet me when I arrived.  They were very helpful, and grateful for the donation. So it's definitely worth ringing them!
    • Called Tessa Jowell GP Surgery today after failing to get two repeat prescriptions from the pharmacy.  When I asked the pharmacy, I was told that they had been requested but not sent by the surgery.  After speaking to the surgery I was told that those two items were no longer on my repeat prescriptions.  I was told I would need a prescription review. Earliest date would be the 22 September.  That is utterly ridiculous.  Surely someone from the surgery should have contacted me to tell me this after requesting the repeat prescriptions two weeks ago.    Also, apparently, there is no point sending an email regarding prescriptions as they are not actioned nor replied to as I have discovered.
    • Erm... guessing it's like any service... so you can receive/be part of something relevant to you in the area where you happen to reside. You don't have to sign up but you might miss out on an excellent Tesco offer or two. 🤷‍♀️
