UPDATE:

Amazingly I found her after she heard me calling for her at around 9:30pm last night, took quite a lot of coaxing (and the help of a number of super kind neighbours - thank you flowers in coming!) but managed to grab her off a shed. So thrilled. She was only around two blocks away, on the far end of where Silvester meets Landcroft.

She's a bit freaked out, hungry and exhausted. But safe!!

That night I had honestly nearly lost hope, I just went for a final walk just to put my mind at ease. Anyone who is missing a pet, it's horrific. Just trust your gut, you know your pet better than anyone.

All posters being remove, and comms being updated this morning. Thank you all for your patience!

I know little Gigi (see previous) post is still missing from Heber Road. Praying she is found soon! Do check the post to see if you can have seen her.

OLD:

Our beloved cat Delia has been missing since last night, last seen in our garden (41a). She is a petite black fluffy cat with a long tail. She is microchipped, with an orange collar with a gold star tag.

She is deeply missed, and this is very unusual behaviour for her to not come home for so long.

Any information or if you live on Silvester Road or Pellatt Road where our garden backs onto each other, please reply to this thread or message me directly on 07933 624390.

CAT FOUND!
  • Sad 2

Good Morning eviehfarleigh,

Fantastic to hear Delia is microchipped! While we haven't received any feline's matching Delia's description, our team carry scanners on our daily routes & will be keeping a look out for her.

Is Delia spayed?

In the meantime, notify your street & surrounding area (many have Whatsapp groups following the pandemic)

Dox will print & deliver 50 free missing posters
https://www.doxdirect.com/help/free-missing-pet-posters/

& Do try calling out for her at dusk & dawn when street & foot traffic is at its lowest.

I hope you are reunited with Delia soon.

    • hah ha! On the subject of dodgy keys and also police protocol with stolen cars, my first car was a 1969 mini which you could open and start by wiggling a small flat-headed screwdriver. No wonder it was stolen. About a week later the police called to say they'd spotted it on the Dog Kennel Hill estate opposite East Dulwich station. In those days parking was free so at least I didn't receive any tickets, but I surprised the police just left a message with the address and expected me to go and pick it up. I was slightly worried I'd have to tackle the culprits myself when I arrived.
    • Great pub, great deals and great service! Food is second to none Highly recommend 👌
    • This thread is brilliant! I am glad it has a happy ending. The reference to the Punto keys reminds of the days of when you could "jiggle a lock" with a similar car key and I speak from painful memory as a kid I managed to lock the keys in our car whilst on a camping holiday in Spain. My mum and dad didn't speak much Spanish and much hilarity ensued (post event) as they tried to communicate to the driver of a similar make and model of car as to why they had flagged him down and were trying to get him to lend him the key from his ignition!
    • I highly recommend my painter and decorator Sean. I have used him for over 25years. He is reliable and charges a reasonable price.  you can contact him on 07572 779608
