Here are the details of the second ride for Oct 11th.  Note the Hackney/Islington Squares ride is full, although can join the Wait List.
Simon K leading one of our regular routes round the tourist hotspots. Start 10am, Southwark Needle, south side of London Bridge, near London Bridge Station. Route: London Bridge / Cannon Street / Queen Street /  Cycleway 3 / Westminster Bridge/ past Big Ben/ Parliament Sq / Buckingham Palace. Return down The Mall / Horse Guards/ Parliament Sq and to London Bridge. Probable coffee stop near Birdcage Walk.  Easy about 8 mile ride. Nearly all protected lanes or cycleways, flat except for slight upgrades on to the bridges.  Back by 12.30.
Riders of all ages are welcome on Healthy Rides but under 18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Same for “adults at risk”. Always give way to pedestrians and to other cyclists so all path users feel safe.  If you cannot make a ride, please cancel so that someone else can take the place. These rides are part of a regular programme of Saturday rides, more information at https://southwarkcyclists.org.uk/healthy-rides/
Reports of past rides are published on the Southwark Cyclists web site. Index for 2025 is at https://southwarkcyclists.org.uk/healthy-rides/healthy-ride-reports-2025/.  Reports usually have photos and often a route map, useful if you fancy riding one of our routes independently.
