HMKay
The Shelley Potteries produced some of England’s best bone china. The company’s formula contained a higher percentage of ground bone than any other manufacturer, which resulted in china that is both very thin and surprisingly strong. This exquisite tea set for two in Blue Rock pattern number 13591 was made c.1955. It consists of two teacups and saucers, two 6” tea plates, a milk jug, sugar bowl and cake plate (8¼” x 9½”). Shelley produced cups in many shapes and sizes. The cups and sugar bowl included here are made in the Regent shape. All nine items are in excellent condition, without any chips, cracks or crazing. Collection from Clapham area and cash payment required Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/368497-shelley-fine-bone-china-tea-set-for-two-blue-rock-pattern-regent-shape-%C2%A34499/ Share on other sites
