Light grey Combelle, Marcel high chair with 5 harness.

Classic French Combelle Marcel high chair, good used condition with some marks to the table top. Light grey and made from solid beech wood in Auvergne, France. The table top has a lovely little abacus and the whole chair can be folded in two to make a fun little trolley when your little one is getting bigger.

selling £35

Retail price £180.

    • Many thanks Jenijenjen, we had just come to tell people and see you are ahead of us! Thanks for that and we look forward to posting more Dulwich History. We also have a lot of info on our website here: https://www.dulwichsociety.com/local-history
    • Beigel is a Yiddish word which has been translated to bagel - beigel (specifically in Brick Lane) are traditional, denser, and chewier jewish style bread rings, often boiled and baked in wood-fired oven.  bagel is lighter, sweeter Americanised version   in my house you’ll get beigels!  Honest is a much better restaurant than Gourmet. Quality of the produce is higher quality.
    • The original post was made by someone else, not the person whose post I was replying to! And the original post only mentioned Whateley Road (which has been clear of leaves whenever I have walked down it) and another unspecified road. My question was directed at CPR Dave, who (as was clear in the post I quoted)  said "The streets round here are a disgrace".
