"I tried Viet Flavour and was disappointed.  Their summer rolls especially were not at all good, stodgy and flavourless.  Pho-OK.  I'm hoping it will get better "

Back in June I posted as above.  I am glad to report that either the first time I went the restaurant was having an off day, or they have upped their game.  I ordered the same things.  The summer roll was exactly as it should be, and had a lovely dipping sauce. The Pho was delicious.  My brother who was with me wanted to give it 10/10 but I always think you should leave room for improvement so gave it 9/10.  Staff were lovely.  I am so glad because I love Vietnamese food and now think I have a very good one just round the corner.

Wow, never had a disappointing meal there since they opened.. guess like every establishment, depends on the chef..

All for allowing an off day - good of you to post.. much better than chains - had awful service at Gail’s for eg..be it cake and tea or a meal..

They are so nice and accommodating..

Price was displayed on menu  but turns out it was per person - not mentioned.  Even the  big department stores tell you pot of  tea for one @£? .

To be fair, a pot of tea for one in a department store is a small pot, and you only get one cup or mug!

Staff have changed and owner now taking a more active role….she is such a nice+lady so I encourage you to try again . I am all for supporting local business and personally very glad after appalling service earlier this year Gail’s has closed.. Change of staff and chefs were unreal.. In one month alone must have had at least 4 new chefs plus god knows how many waiters/ waitresses.. when Ai saw that happening, new it was gonna be down hill all the way.

    • The editing was clumsy and made it look like he said something specific, that he did not. That is obviously wrong, and the BBC have apologised and people have lost their jobs as a result. That said, the overall impression - that Trump repeatedly stated (and still does) that the election had been stolen, that he encouraged his supporters to march on the Capitol, that he repeatedly called for people to fight - in short that he inspired a violent insurrection - is entirely true.  Trump used the word 'fight' 20 times. Whilst his speech was going on, his supporters chanted "Take the Capitol", "Invade the Capitol", "Storm the Capitol" and "Fight for Trump" The documentary generally, was not misleading. The real scandal is that Trump wasn't tried and ended up back in power. I do think that we need to stop normalising Trump. He has a criminal history and is openly corrupt. He has shown himself to be a threat to democracy. The US right and their tech billionaire allies are having an malign impact on UK politics and culture, interfering both directly and indirectly, in ways that we should be doing more to challenge.
