Specialized Allez A1 aluminium road bike 60cm in good condition.

- Good quality aluminium road bike in top condition.

- upgraded Shimano Tiagra (not the Sora found on cheaper bikes) group-set with the break levers moving left and right for shifting up and down. The right lever was recently replaced with NOS (new old stock) item and professionally installed. The bike is shifting well through all 18 (9 x 2) gears.

- The bike was always stored indoors.

- Hardly used over the past 5 years, and not at all in the last year. I've hung it on to it long enough but I just don't ride it anymore.

- Never used for commuting, only occasional weekends and holidays.

- No accidents or bad falls.

- I had it serviced including cables replacement about 3 years ago and just haven't used it since.

- It has matching anti-puncture Armadillo tyres 700x23, which are a few years old, but had very limited use and were stored at home away from direct sunlight.

- Nothing stuck - the seat post moves and pedals come off.

- 2 bottle holders and wired trip computer included.

- The seat is comfy and without rips.

- The frame has some scratches, but nothing exceptional. It being aluminium bike there are no rust issues.

- Everything is working as it should.

- The bike is 60 cm from the bottom bracket to the top of the tube by my measure. I am 5' 11'' and used it with the seat post almost all the way down

- have a brand new helmet, phone and accessories bag and d-lock that I'll throw in. It also comes with a mounted tyre pump, lights installed.

    • Strange isn’t it…..other European countries s actually come up with solutions to house homeless people, which are pod structure, use of office blocks, etc. homeless are provided with thermals, warm sleeping bag and tent or pop up tent plus tech friendly clothing which means they are warm in extreme conditions. Us in UK? Nothing but chuckinto house of multiple occupation, which is usually not warm and not all have mould, but some do.. live in one room even if you are a family with good only knows what other sort of people…  not referring to ethinicity here but more along the lines of mental health problems, drugs, alcoholics. Single and families all in one property. Or if you are one of the lucky ones, into a hotel you go…   Why don’t we as a nation claw back more money in the form of tax  or avoidance avoidance, off shore accounts or other ways that rich or investors do buck the system….
    • Hello! I’m considering buying the demise for the loft-space above my flat (facing the classic renovate or move scenario for an additional bedroom or 2). Has anyone had recent experience of buying the demise from Southwark? Interested to know how they’re handling the premium/valuation.  thanks!
