November Singaround, The Goose Is Out! Upstairs at The Castle 280 Crystal Palace Road, East Dulwich SE22 9JJ, Sunday 9 November.

We welcome everybody to our Singarounds to sing or to listen. Songs can be accompanied or unaccompanied solo or duo or more, any genre. It isn't an open mic evening, we don't use mics! If you need help getting up and down the stairs please let us know via our website. We will arrange for someone to meet you and help you up the stairs.

First to sign up first to sing, just sign up at any time during the evening at the list on the ticket table. Everybody gets one song and if there's time we start again.
Doors open 7pm, singing starts at 7.15 prompt. £5 on the door cash or BACs.

This is tonight!

If you love singing but don't (yet) have the confidence to sing alone in front of other (friendly!) people, we also have a session for "shy singers", also Upstairs at the Castle, at 6pm before the main Singaround starts.

We won't be asking you to sing by yourself (unless you feel ready to).

This is free, but if you would like to come to the main Singaround afterwards, that is £5 (see the post above for more details).

If you would like more information about this, please message me on here or via our website

    • Typically the way 'family run businesses' operate is either to have family members continue the business, or to sell on, either as a site (in this instance) or as a going concern. Either which way this is the way the owners create a 'pension' from the business. The number of suggestions as to alternatives makes me feel that the market for small repairing garages locally may be well served, so selling on the site makes the best financial sense for the owners. It's a sign not of the times but of normal business realities.
    • I agree it's a shame, but it is not a "sign of the times", unless you think that up to now people have never grown older and retired!
