[Looking For] After School & Nursery care, from Jan 2026 Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays

Hi,

My husband and I are looking for after school care/ an after school nanny to start from 6th Jan 2026 for our two children, our son 4 years & daughter 2 years please see details below:

  • Area: East Dulwich, SE22 (near East Dulwich Station & Dog Kennel Hill Sainsbury's)
  • Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays 3:15pm - 6:30pm
  • School pick up at 3:20 & Nursery pick up by 5pm on these days - both the school and nursery are within a 10 min walk from our house in the same direction & located very close to each other.
  • Tea to be cooked for our two children.
  • £15-£17 per hr depending on experience.
  • Provided: Free parking 
  • DBS checked preferred

      Any interest in a Barter scheme?

      The "for sale" section on this forum lets people offer things for free or cheaply. There are also existing schemes like Freecycle, and food banks. Isn't that simpler than having a barter system? You might have something to give away, but the person who wants it might not have anything you want. Or have I misunderstood how it works? I can see that offering services free might not fit into existing schemes, but depending on what they were, what would happen if things went horribly wrong eg someone wrecked your house? Sorry if the above sounds very negative.

      I'm wondering why they would do that? Because surely positive reviews could only help them, and if they thought they might get negative reviews, shouldn't they have been addressing the reasons that might be (unless someone had an unwarranted grudge against them)? But in any case, how could they have stopped people posting reviews on here? PS I have corrected your typo! 😃
