Bellenden Belle
So tomorrow I am due to take Baby Belle to a concert at Wigmore Hall.I'm then supposed to meet a friend nearby but am a little stumped as to where to go. Wigmore Hall is a hop skip and a jump from Bond Street. What I would really like is some outdoor space (not even a playground - a few trees and some grass would be enough) and also somewhere to have tea and cake that are child friendly nearby. Any suggestions? Many thanksx Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/36990-child-friendly-places-near-wigmore-hall/ Share on other sites
bawdy-nan
Cavendish Sqaure is a grassy (enclosed) area its round the back of the John Lewis Food Hall so if you're feleing thrifty you could pick up a cake there and eat it al fresco. Otherwise the area is awash with cafes - including a starbucks or a pret a manger just along from John Lewis Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/36990-child-friendly-places-near-wigmore-hall/#findComment-683736 Share on other sites
katgod
Walk up marylebone high street, lovely shops, GInger PIg butchers, GIraffe restaurant, pret and all usual sandwich places, PAtisserie VAlerie and then on the left is Moxon STreet ( where ginger pig is) and there are gardens there with swings, benches, climbing frames etc lovely spot for lunch with a nice international mix of mums and carers and toddlers. Also boots andcwaitrose to satisfy shopping urges.
