Christmas Trees

Hi all,

 

We’re looking at getting a real christmas tree this year - are there any recommendations on where to get one locally (ideally walking distance from lordship lane)?

There are usually people selling trees in North Cross Road market, outside the EDT, and in the cricket club carpark  opposite the old Grove Tavern on the South Circular.

I think also some years outside The Plough, if memory serves 

Don't know when they start to sell them, though.

Probably other places as well.

I got my tree from Gardenman (Nigel on 07559 862191) last year. delivered to my door.  Lovely tree,  good condition

He posted this year's prices in the For Sale section of the Forum on 11 Nov.
